About us
Established in 1996, the "V.M." group of companies has long experience in maintaining office equipment. Within the global trend of focusing on your own businesses and transferring non-specific functions to profile companies, we offer outsourcing of office printing.
Under the outsourcing agreement, we will assume all the costs associated with: supply of printing devices and consumables, their installation, services of current maintenance, repair and utilization. Provision of services is monitored automatically and doesn’t require additional administration costs. Specialized software gives us the possibility to provide the equipment diagnostics and count costs on printing in real-time. We offer flexible options - from several printers for a small office to integrated solutions with a distributed structure.
An integrated print management solution is a global trend known as the Managed Print Services (MPS) project or print management system.
Within the framework of such project, we prepare for the Customers their exclusively individual solution that takes into account specifics of business, infrastructure and processes.
As a result, the Customer receives:
- modern printing devices that meet needs of the company (volumes and intensity of printing, types and formats of documents, number of users);
- integration the system in existing IT-infrastructure;
- automated reporting by departments, centers of financial responsibility, users, formats and quantity of printing;
- system maintenance, taking into account the Customer’s operation mode;
- printed documents in the required quantity and quality;
- saving resources on the printers purchasing and administration.
For users the print management system looks like this:
- to get a personal access card, or a PIN-code;
- to send a document to print;
- to apply a card or enter a PIN-code on any print device;
- to get printouts.
In a similar way, users can copy, scan and send documents by e-mail or facsimile.
Successful implementation of the MPS-project is usually done in the following way:
- forming of the implementation team;
- inspection of the infrastructure and IT-structure of the Customer;
- formation of the technical task and schedule of project implementation;
- preparing and approving of technical task;
- implementation of the pilot project as necessary.
Terms of project implementation depend on its complexity. The longest (and the most difficult) project in our practice has been implemented during eight months from the first meeting with the Customer.

As "V.M." practice shows during projects implementation, in most companies there is a significant imbalance in the number of personal printers installed at the office. While there are no devices with network connection support for group work or these devices are not in sufficient amount. And this leads to the complexity of centralized management and control. Moreover, the IT department does not have actual and timely statistics about using the fleet of printing equipment and about the volume of output documents. Therefore, MPS-projects include optimization of the company's printing equipment with an optimized structure that runs on the principle "the correct device in the right place.

The main benefits of an outsourcing transition project were, of course, economical. But in terms of IT, service functions have been significantly simplified. Thus, the number of equipment has decreased, now there is no need to maintain remote sites. Most functions are now implemented centrally through the print service. Also administration and management have been simplified, namely: repair, supplies, cost sharing.
